UCAS K102, three years
A three-year BSc in the Bartlett School of Architecture combining architecture with study in other UCL departments.
Undergraduate · UCL Architectural and Interdisciplinary Studies
UCL's Architectural and Interdisciplinary Studies BSc combines architecture with the freedom to take specialised teaching in other subjects across UCL, unlike traditional architecture degrees with a fixed curriculum. It asks for AAB, or 17 IB points in three higher level subjects, no specific subjects and a comprehensive creative portfolio upon invitation. The decision for an applicant is whether a flexible, interdisciplinary route suits them better than the Architecture BSc.

The course
UCL says students take optional modules at the Bartlett School of Architecture, taught by designers, urban researchers, architects, filmmakers, historians and green policy specialists, and then choose modules from across UCL. In Years 1 and 2 at least 75 credits are in the Bartlett; in Year 3 at least 60. The course has two streams, Architectural Research and Design and Creative Practice, and in the final year students must take one of them.
